Gen Z, Part 4: Sharing initial findings at Durham University

Last week, my research team and I travelled to Durham University to present initial findings from our study, ‘Understanding Generation Z’s Religious and Spiritual Role Models’. It was a full day — 9 hours of commute for only 20 minutes of presentation. But it was completely worth it. The presentation generated fantastic discussion and, most importantly, it let my Co-I and our three research assistants shine. They all rose to the occasion, and I couldn’t be more proud of them.

With 70 stories in hand, we are seeing fascinating patterns in the data. The Instagram description above, or through the link, offers an indication of our initial themes. What’s more, since we have asked study participants to provide demographic information, we are awash with raw data to make exciting empirical predictions about Gen Z and religious exemplars. Watch this space. We are working hard this summer to produce a full analysis, ready for public comment and publication.

We’re still recruiting!

We are still recruiting participants for the Gen Z study. Please share our participation link with anyone around the world, aged 18 – 27.
