Stepping in for a friend, I’ll be speaking at the 11th Annual European Compliance & Ethics Institute on 20th March 2023 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. My session, entitled ‘Ethics in the workplace’ will:
- Examine the connection between business ethics and compliance programs
- Explore approaches to cultivating character in the workforce
- Discuss how leadership models impact ethics imitation within the company
The session will feature plenty of peer-learning (the attendees will be the real experts in the room!), mixed in with ethical insights from philosophy and psychology — indeed, we’ll hear a story from Plato, examine the emotions involved in role modelling, and read a little poetry.
